7th Dragon 2020: Hatsune Miku

Did you know that Hatsune Miku makes an appearance in “7th Dragon 2020”?

In the year 2020, dragons from outer space have decided to invade the earth and make it uninhabitable by spreading harmful, extraterrestrial plants known as “Flowaro”. The player is tasked to rescue Miku in one of its missions, and the reward gives Squad 13 an alternative BGM option that changes all music into remixes done with Miku’s voice.

It think that sounds lovely, don’t you? I love Miku’s voice, even though I don’t know a lot of her songs. Thanks again to Mikachu for sharing this!

In Final Fantasy XIII-2, Lightning has learned to trust others and ask them for help. She has also become more open in expressing her emotions rather than keeping them bottled up inside her. However, her time in Valhalla and the recognition of her past “sins” have also made her more somber than before.

Doesn’t Rainer Tachibana look amazing as Lightning? I love how she used real feathers for Lightning’s side skirt, and the details on her sword and armor look amazing as well! With this particular submission, I’m not exactly sure if they’re really cosplaying or not. But you have to admit, the costume, location, and composition is absolutely breath-taking! You just can’t beat natural beauty! And I really love kimonos and Japanese umbrellas!

When Zack Fair and Aerith Gainsborough went on their first date together, he bought her a pink hair ribbon and suggested to Aerith that she should wear pink more often. By Final Fantasy VII, she had completely changed her wardrobe from her blue and white dress, to her iconic pink and red outfit while still wearing Zack’s ribbon.

I guess the story does show off Aerith’s stubborness. Once she’s made up her mind about something, she’s not going to listen to anyone who tells her otherwise. In any case, another cute cosplay by Arisa Mizuhara! Thanks again to Anthony for sending this in!

Final Fantasy VIII: Squall Leonhart 02

Squall has a very distinct rivalry with Seifer Almasy. From early on, a duel between two gave Squall his characteristic facial scar and subsequently a mirrored one to Seifer. Incidentally, whenever Squall and Seifer are supposed to be cooperating on a mission, there are always squabbles between the two cadets.

Seifer later allied himself with the Sorceress, requiring Squall to battle him several times. Despite all their conflict, however, Squall still feels an underlying camaraderie for Seifer.

After Shampoo learned about Ranma’s curse, she could not kill or marry him and decided to return home, heartbroken. As punishment for her failure, her great-grandmother Cologne brought her to Jusenkyo for retraining. During her lessons, her lack of concentration made her fall into the “Spring of Drowned Cat”. She was then cursed to turn into a cat whenever she’s doused with cold water. Unfortunately, cats are the one thing Ranma fears most, and Shampoo blames him for this status.

Alice Baskerville first appeared as a chain that persuaded Oz Vessalius to form a contract with her in the Abyss. She is actually the infamous B-Rabbit (Blood-stained Black Rabbit), the most powerful chain in the Abyss. She is hotheaded and loud-spoken, but cares deeply for her “manservant” Oz, as she considers her health when using her powers.

Lucky Star: Izumi Konata 06

Izumi Konata is the hardcore otaku protagonist of the Lucky Star series. She has a tendency to refer to several popular games, anime, and manga; including Yu-Gi-Oh! and The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi. She has many figures of Suzumiya Haruhi in her room and even cosplayed her in the Cosplay Cafe she works in.

Lucky Star: Hiiragi Kagami

The older twin sister of Tsuakasa, Kagami (who is sometimes referred as "Kagamin") is a friend of Konata’s and Miyuki’s who loves to read light novels and play shoot ‘em up games. She is in a different classroom than the other main characters of Lucky Star; much to her distress since she even chose the same course in her second year in hopes of being with them.

Kagami studies very hard and is somewhat egotistical. Konata often pesters Kagamin to allow her to copy her homework or tutor her when the exams and/or the due date for summer homework is just around the corner.
