Shaman King: Tao Ren

A Chinese shaman who was initially one of Asakura Yo’s most powerful adversaries, Tao Ren is highly confident in his own strength and does not directly accept help from others. His pride, along with his short-temper and impatience often limit his ability as a Shaman. However, after meeting Yo, his strong sense of pride moves towards his ability to protect his friends, and he becomes Yo’s rival in becoming the Shaman King.

I miss watching this anime, and it’s great to see someone cosplay this adorable character. Thanks to Wendy for sending this!

Shaman King: Asakura Yo

When Asakura Keiko gave birth to twins, the reincarnated Asakura Hao was separated into two halves; Yo bore his human side while his twin brother who carried the same name as their ancestor bore his shaman side. Although he is only interested in becoming the Shaman King in order to fulfill his promise to his fiancée, Kyoyama Anna, Lady Sati gave him the honor of going to Hell to train himself. He was granted the power of purification and became one of the Five Elemental Warriors, gaining the Spirit of Earth.

A very convincing cosplay! Yo always seemed happy and bored at the same time, and this cosplayer really achieved his look flawlessly! Thanks to Pikori for sending this in!

Shaman King: Marion Phauna

Time to go through my hard drive again to find some cosplays from several years ago!

Now this one I remember saving because I thought she was cosplaying Freya from Chobits. But now that I think about it, she’s not Freya at all, is she?

I’m pretty sure someone can shed some light on this… please and thank you!

She's Asakura Hao's follower from Team Hanagumi. She always talks in third person and is usually very quiet but often says "Mari tsumanai" or "Mari is bored". She is also obsessed with Oyamada Manta.
