I wonder why this particular series draws me in, even though I have never played the game nor have I even seen the anime? I even bought the art book at the Manila International Book Fair, even though it was the browsing copy… I guess it sold out pretty quickly. Not surprising though, because the artwork is really amazing.

Anyway, I believe this set of cosplayers have done the characters justice, wouldn’t you agree? Thanks to Elbereth for sharing this!

Amnesia Cast: Toma, Shin, Ukyo, Ikki, and Kent

One morning on the 1st of August, a girl wakes up and realizes she has lost all of her memories. A spirit named Orion appears before her and tells her that his spirit collided with hers and caused her amnesia. Orion then goes on to help her recollect her memories, guiding her along the way.

Amnesia: Shin 02

Although the Heroine doesn’t remember him, it appears that Shin has been her boyfriend for three months prior to her Amnesia. The Heroine stood by Shin’s side, even though he was ostracized by their other classmates. This was also probably the reason why he fell in love with her.

South Korean cosplayer Sachi looks amazing as Shin! I’m wondering if those shoes are the same ones in different colors, because wouldn’t that mean she bought two pairs just for this cosplay? Thanks to Janet for sending this in!

Amnesia: Toma

Although Toma is a very kind individual, he can be a little overprotective at times. He is willing to do anything to protect the Heroine, even putting sleeping drugs in her food as a way of trying to keep her in her room. He does this because he cares deeply about her, even though his methods may not be all too conventional.

I don’t think he and I would end up together if I were to play the otome game. I know his intentions are pure, but really? Anyway, thanks to Lucy for introducing me to Taiwanese cosplayer, Somei!

Amnesia: Ukyo

Ukyo is a famous photographer who suffer from a split-personality disorder. Although he is truly very kind and loyal, Ukyo’s alternate personality can be villainous and menacing. He is said to be the true lover of the Heroine who was forced to witness her death several times in his attempts to save her.

Thai cosplayer, Lunasuki, makes an absolutely stunning Ukyo! It seems this otome game has become quite popular, and now I’m curious to check out the anime myself. Thanks to Janie for sending this in!

Amnesia: Shin

Shin is a high school graduate studying hard to get into a university of his choice. When he was young, his father accidentally killed a man who was under the influence of alcohol. Although Shin was not directly involved, he was still bullied and avoided in school as a result of the incident. This drives Shin to make a successful future for himself so that he will no longer be compared to his father.

Ryuichi Randoll makes such a lovely looking Shin! The setting and angle look good as well! Thanks to Renée for sending this in!

Amnesia: Kent

A highly intellectual individual, Kent was raised by his parents with the belief that everything had some sort of logical explanation. As a result, he believes that anything can be solved through logic. He is Ikki’s best friend and enjoys devising math puzzles, much to Ikki’s amusement.
