The King of Fighters XIII: Leona Heidern and Kula Diamond

While both characters may appear and act completely different from one another, both Leona Heidern and Kula Diamond have difficulties in expressing their emotions. Leona is “The Silent Soldier” who always keeps her emotions in check because she is afraid of losing her sense of self to her Orochi blood. Kula, on the other hand, is only a child whose feelings were repressed in order for her to become a cold-blooded killer.

The King of Fighters ‘95: Yagami Iori 02

To be honest, she looks more like Vice than she does Iori.

But I’ve checked her costume, and that belt choker is definitely Iori’s as Vice has a ribbon around her neck. The black and white color scheme is also Iori’s signature, and the hair is too long to be Vice’s.

But she’s definitely a girl cosplayer, and this is definitely from the King of Fighters. So if anyone would like to tell me which character from the game she’s actually from, I’d be really grateful. For now though, I will be labeling this cosplay as Yagami Iori.

Maybe Iori has a sister? I don’t know. I do know that this is in my old hard drive, and I think she’s quite cute, so I’ll just share it with you guys right here.

The King of Fighters XI: Bonne Jenet

More Unknowns courtesy of this year's Summer Comiket!

If I had to guess, I would say she’s Sheryl Nome from Macross Frontier. If not, perhaps one of the pirates from One Piece, but I looked through some of the main characters from that series without much luck as to who this cosplayer is portraying to be!

The King of Fighters '96: Mature

The "ruthless woman" of the pair of secretaries employed by Rugal Bernstein, Mature was ordered by Goenitz to keep an eye on Yagami Iori. Even though she is a wielder of Orochi, she is later defeated by Iori and is eventually killed. Mature becomes a playable character in the King of Fighters XII, exclusive to the home console version of the game.

The King of Fighters ‘95: Yagami Iori

The heir of the Yagami Clan and rival of Kusanagi Kyo, Iori wields pyrokinetic powers and is a berserker due to the Orochi demon blood running through his veins. His ancestors helped seal the Orochi Demon along with the Kusanagi and Yata clans. However, the Yagami clan betrayed the Kusanagis, and ended up being cursed the the Orochi. As a result, the Yagami clan have demonic powers that cause them to die at a young age.

Quite impressive. I think this photo has been around the internet for a while. I remember seeing it several years ago, but never found it again until now. Great work!

Fatal Fury / The King of Fighters: Shiranui Mai

I know Shiranui Mai is supposed to be the sexiest female fighting character ever to be created during the 16-bit era… But frankly, I’m thankful to have found a cosplay of her that doesn’t make her look… well… slutty.

Shiranui Mai, Ninjutsu and Koppo-Ken master, who, in her mind, thinks Andy Bogard is her fiance… Though Andy chooses to suppress his feelings for her and would most often treat her as his younger sister.

Frankly, who can resist a girl like Mai?

Pretty cosplay, isn’t this? Most people would probably argue that the cosplayer’s footwear is wrong and that Mai doesn’t wear dark stockings with this signature outfit… But hey… Isn’t she to die for?
