The out-spoken, thirteen-year-old Aino Minako was like any other teenage girl who dreams about finding her true love someday… that is, until she encounter a talking white cat who calls himself Artemis. Since then, Minako has become the guardian of the Earth in the name of her planet, Venus.

Codename: Sailor V: Kaitou Ace

Aino Minako’s love interest in Codename: Sailor V, Kaitou Ace was an idol who appeared after an evil plot took place to make girls gain weight. He then helped the girls in Tokyo to loose weight and even had his own TV show. He fought along Sailor V against evil, in the same way that Tuxedo Mask helped Sailor Moon.

When Aino Minako encounters a talking white cat with a crescent moon on his forehead, she didn't realize she would soon say goodbye to her mundane life as a 13-year-old middle school student to fulfill her mission to protect the earth.

The series Sailor Moon is actually the sequel to Codename Sailor V. It's somehow sad that Minako is considered Usagi's knock-off when when Usagi was really partly based on Minako.
