Rozen Maiden: Suiseiseki 03

Suiseiseki is the third Rozen Maiden doll and she and her twin are called “gardeners” because of their ability to communicate with plants. This ability is also extended to tending for a human’s “soul tree”, representing what a person is really like deep inside.

But most people know her for her habit of saying “desu” at the end of almost every sentence.

Beautiful cosplay! I’m always amazed at the details of the costumes of Rozen Maiden cosplayers. Really great work on this one!

Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion: Kururugi Suzaku and Lelouch Lamperouge

A pair of childhood friends who wish for the same goal but prefer different methods, Lelouch and Suzaku never thought that they would have to face each other as enemies for the benefit of their country. While Lelouch will stop at nothing to achieve his goals (going as far as creating an alternate ego known as Zero), Suzaku believes that achieving something through wrong doings are meaningless. Despite these obvious differences in opinion, the two remain friends, and helped in creating a new and peaceful Britannia.

Pretty awesome cosplay! The material for the costumes look like real leather. It must be very hot and uncomfortable to wear. Wonderful job!

Pandora Hearts: Gilbert Nightray

Friend and loyal servant of Oz Vessalius, Gilbert Nightray considers Oz to be the most precious person in the world and is willing to do anything for him. He was first taken into the Vessalius household 15 years ago in an injured state. He later becomes known as "Raven", a member of Pandora who retrieves Oz from the Abyss. He hates cats, loves to cook, and completely adores the hat Oz's little sister, Ada, gave him.

Another image I had to crop to have a better look at the cosplayer. It makes me wonder if I should change the blog layout to show larger images next time. Thank goodness the image had a watermark of the series title, or I would have never guessed where this was from! Great cosplaying!

D. Gray-Man: Kanda Yu and Allen Walker

A pair of comrades who always seem to end up at each other's throats, Kanda Yu was the first Exorcist Allen Walker met in the Black Order Headquarters. While Allen's anti-akuma weapon is the parasitic Crowned Clown that takes the shape of either a giant arm, or a fur cape and claw, Kanda has Mugen, the katana he's holding.

I had to crop the photo so that I could make it fit in my blog, but I hope the photographer doesn't mind too much! It's a really nice shot of the two cosplayers, who both did an awesome job at their costumes and accessories. Great work!

Touhou Project: Onozuka Komachi

A shinigami who doesn't seem to take her job seriously, Komachi is often scolded by her boss, Sikeiki Yamaxanadu for her poor performance. She is the counterpart of Greek Mythology's Charon, Hades' ferryman, as she guides the souls of the newly deceased across the Sanzu River. Her attacks come in the form of holed coins, as these seem to be the payment the souls need to move on from the world of the living to the world of the dead.

She's a little too adorable to be working as a ferryman- or ferrywoman, if she prefers that title. Maybe that's why she doesn't take her job very seriously? Cute cosplay though!

Bleach: Nelliel Tu Odelschwanck 04

I don't even know what to say to this anymore, because I think I might be dying of cute.

But I would like to know what her real name is. From my three previous features, I've always thought her name was Neliel Tu Oderschvank. I checked wikipedia recently and it had Odelschwanck instead. What gives?

Either way, Nel is just the cutest thing ever. I'm not sure, but she might be the same kid?

Gurren Lagann: Yoko Littner 02

A resident of Ritona, Jeeha's neighboring village, Yoko Littner tracks down the Gunmen which crashed through the surface and into Jeeha. She is highly knowledgeable in combat fighting and provide wise counsel to advance the war of liberation, even if her choice of clothing seem to speak otherwise. She explains earlier on in the series that she avoids clothing that restrict her movements.

I don't know about her, but I know I would find it difficult to fight in short shorts and a bikini top. Then again, she's the expert, not me. Thanks again to MPzero for the wonderful photography!

Death Note: Matt

Mail Jeevas, who is more commonly known as Matt, performs espionage work for Mello. Little is known about this character aside from the fact that he doesn't care much about the real world and likes to play video games. He acts as an accomplice to Kiyomi Takada's kidnapping and is shot dead by her bodyguards. He smokes a cigarette with his last breath, leading to the speculation that he might very well be a chain smoker.

Quite an impressive cosplay of Matt. I'm not sure what the watermark "NadesicoRock" means, but I do hope that's the cosplayer's alias. Thanks for sharing this wonderful work!

Naruto: Shippuden: Haruno Sakura

The proficient, medical ninja of Team 7, Sakura used to sit in the sidelines, allowing others to fight her battles for her. She learns early on that this was unwise and begins to reconsider her actions, strengthening her resolve to become a better ninja from then on.

Under Tsunade's apprenticeship, she learns to use her chakra to heal wounds and build her chakra in her fists, giving her superhuman strength.

I really like how Sakura has developed into such a strong and beautiful character. I guess she's still highly infatuated with Sasuke, but I wonder if she'll ever return Naruto's feelings for her? Guess we'll have to wait and see. Beautiful cosplay though!

Kingdom Hearts: Riku

The original chosen one to wield the Keyblade, Riku chooses a darkness over light when he and his friends were attacked in Destiny Islands. His decision places him in Hollow Bastion where Maleficent influences him to turn on Sora in order to help Kairi.

It’s kind of sad that he made the wrong choice, or else he would have been the protagonist of the series. I like Riku’s character design better than Sora’s. This is still a very nice cosplay though! Great work!

Sengoku Basara: Nouhime

Things have been pretty hectic around here that I haven't had time to update my blog. I hope I didn't let my readers down! But family and work is preventing me from taking care of Cosplay Holic.

Now then, this is a nice photo, even if you don't like cosplays. It looks like she purposefully painted the red sections of her kimono and the gold butterflies all around it. I'm not sure, but those look like fans she's waving around, right?

Any idea which game or anime she could be from?

Bleach: Sarugaki Hiyori

The former lieutenant of the 12th Division under captain Hikifune Kirio and Urahara Kisuke, Hiyori is a violent girl with a fierce temper who took the longest time to defeat her inner hollow. Even after she became a Visored, she still abuses Hirako Shinji, often using one of her sandles to slap him in the face, or even using him as a human sheild.

I think there was a change from "Vizard" to "Vizored" at some point, not sure when and why. But she's a rather charming Hiyori, don't you agree? I don't want to get in her way, unless I need a slap on the face. Great cosplay!
