When Minaduki Kashou, the son of a long line of Japanese confectionery bakers, decided to move out and open his own shop “La Soleil”, he never would have expected to have to look after a pair of cat girls at the same time.

I’m sure my readers would be familiar with Neneko already, but you might also remember Shimo cosplaying Satan from “The Seven Deadly Sins”! Tekken 7: Josie Rizal

Everyone here seems to be talking about this new fighter coming out in Tekken 7. Aside from the name, her fighting style appears to be a combination of Eskrima and Kickboxing, but no other information is available for now. There’s a lot of debate as to whether or not she’s the first fighter from the Philippines in the Tekken series, or if it was Mokujin, or even if she’s from the Philippines at all!

Well, I don’t think I want to get into that debate, but I do like Yuriko Tiger’s cosplay of Josie. She’s the official cosplayer chosen by Bandai, Namco as according to her Facebook post, so please do give her your support! Thanks to Maria for suggesting this!

Fruits Basket: Souma Kagura

Cursed with the Spirit of the Pig, Souma Kagura claims to be the fiancée of Souma Kyo, but whenever Kyo denies those claims, she beats Kyo up. She is normally a kind and girly young woman, but she appears to have a split personality whenever it comes to Kyo. Apparently, when they were still very young, Kagura even threatened Kyo into proposing to her using a knife (this was changed to a giant boulder in the anime).

I think Kagura is my favorite female character in the series because she’s so strong and straight-forward. And don’t you think Japanese cosplayer Roki makes such an adorable Kagura? Please do give her your support and visit her World Cosplay account! Thanks again to Katy for suggesting this!

Unknown Cosplay #157

Well, I honestly think this is Kipi cosplaying her version of Alice from Alice in Wonderland, but I thought it would be best to ask my readers too. I know there are many adaptations of Alice in anime and games like “Alice in the Kingdom of Hearts”, but I’m pretty sure Kipi is not cosplaying the protagonist from that series.

So for now, I’ll leave this in the Unknown Section until we get some confirmation, ok? Thanks to Josh for sending this in!

Mobile Suit Gundam Girl 02

I am practically clueless when it comes to the makes and models of Gundams, so maybe someone can tell me from which series this cosplayer is portraying as?

I guess Gundam Girls have been pretty popular ever since. This looks like a scanned photo from somewhere, and if you take a closer look on the upper right-hand corner, there’s a little date that reads “12 2 ‘04”, so I’m guessing that this was taken in 2004. But even though the photo is old, it’s still pretty impressive, don’t you think? Thanks to Cali for sending this in!

Samurai Warriors 2: Mori Ranmaru

Mori Ranmaru is a hidden character in Samurai Warriors 2 who could only be unlocked by doing the first two “Ranmaru’s Request” and “Mitsuhide’s Request” jobs in Survival Mode. In the mission, Ranmaru’s requests for the player’s help to investigate the nature of Nobunaga’s assassination, as Ranmaru remains unsure whether Mitsuhide really killed their lord or not. It was later revealed that Mitsuhide was falsely accused because Ieyasu used a look alike assassin, and that the assailants only managed to kill Nobunaga’s body double. He and Keiji later set out to punish Ieyasu together.

I’m pretty sure this is Jesuke, even though I don’t see this in her Deviant Art anymore. There are other shots of her in this costume in her Gallery though, so please be sure to give her a visit! Thanks to TsukiHiro for sharing this!

7th Dragon 2020: Hatsune Miku

Did you know that Hatsune Miku makes an appearance in “7th Dragon 2020”?

In the year 2020, dragons from outer space have decided to invade the earth and make it uninhabitable by spreading harmful, extraterrestrial plants known as “Flowaro”. The player is tasked to rescue Miku in one of its missions, and the reward gives Squad 13 an alternative BGM option that changes all music into remixes done with Miku’s voice.

It think that sounds lovely, don’t you? I love Miku’s voice, even though I don’t know a lot of her songs. Thanks again to Mikachu for sharing this!

Fruits Basket: Souma Hiro

Cursed with the Spirit of the Goat, Souma Hiro is an arrogant 11-year-old, who loves Souma Kisa more than anything in the world. However, when he told Akito about his love for Kisa, Akito attacked Kisa and ended up in the hospital. Hiro knew that it was because of his confession that Kisa ended up getting hurt, so he decided to stay away from Kisa in order to keep her safe.

I remember falling in love with this series when the anime debuted at a local convention. Actually, it wasn’t even a convention, it was a film viewing / gathering since anime and manga were not really that common back then. A friend and I were fangirling all over Yuki at the time, and we didn’t care that we got weird looks then, haha!
