Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion: Euphemia li Britannia 02

By the end of the first season of Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion, Euphemia li Britannia announced that she intended to form a Special Administrative Zone of Japan in the region under Mount Fuji. This will evidently give the Japanese people their name as well as their country back. However, during the administration changeover ceremony, she fell under the accidental influence of Lelouch Lamperouge’s Geass, compelling her to kill the Japanese people.

Beautiful cosplay by Suok Jiuan! She makes a very stunning Euphemia, and I really like the way she did her eye make up. Thanks to Syaza for suggesting this!

Ano Hana: “Menma” Honma Meiko

Honma Meiko, affectionately known as “Menma” to her group of friends, died in an accident while they were still very young. One summer day, she appeared before Yadomi Jinta, or “Jintan”, the de facto leader of their self-proclaimed Super Peace Brothers. Although she is awarer of her death, she is unsure why she has returned to see Jintan, other than remembering that she once made a request to him that has possibly remained unfulfilled.

She so cute! Definitely one of the best Menma’s I’ve yet seen! And in case you’re wondering, the full name of the anime is Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai. I’ll stick with “Ano Hana” for this blog, ok? Thanks to Sam for sending this in!

Sekai-Ichi Hatsukoi: Yukina Kou

A 21-year-old store clerk, Yukina Kou is in charge of the Shoujo Manga section at Marimo Books. He is very sociable with his customers, and is considered to be a “Prince” among his female admirers. Yukina was aware that Kisa Shota came to the bookstore often to watch him work, but when he found out that Kisa is the editor of all of his favorite works, Yukina began to develop feelings for him as well.

Sword Art Online: Alfheim Online: Leafa

Although initially disliking VRMMOs, Kirigaya Suguha took up Alfheim Online in order to better understand her cousin, Kazuto, as he was trapped in Sword Art Online. She won the Sylph tournament thanks to her Kendo background, earning the title of the strongest Sylph in ALO. Her display name in game is “リーファ”, pronounced as “Leafa”.

A very cute cosplay of Leafa by 肉感少女 – Neneko! Although I’m kinda sad she doesn’t have wings, ALO does set a time limit for those to appear, right? Thanks to Janet for sending this in!

Final Fantasy XIII: Hope Estheim

A Cocoon exile at the start of the game, Hope Estheim and his mother, Nora, were visiting the town of Bodhum when they were caught up in the Purge and exiled to Pulse. Under Snow Villiers’ leadership, Nora joined the resistance in the Hanging Edge. Unfortunately, Nora fell to her death during the battle while trying to protect Hope and after saving Snow’s life. This incident angered Hope and he and fellow exile, Oerba Dia Vanille, followed Snow to the Pulse Vestige.

Really great cosplay and location! First time I’ve seen Takeshi Photography’s work, but I’d love to see more from this photographer. Thanks to Daniela for sending this in!

I’d really like to know where this character came from because the design of her cosplay is really intricate! It must have been pretty expensive to make! Plus, she really stands out among the otaku crowd wouldn’t you agree?

Spice and Wolf: Horo

A wolf harvest deity originally from a place in the north known as Yoitsu, Horo made a promise to the men of Pasloe that she would ensure them good wheat harvest year after year. However, as the years passed, the townspeople started to forsake Horo and did not rely on her as much as they used to. As a result, Horo escaped Pasloe in Kraft Lawrence’s wagon, hoping to see how much the world has changed since her stay in Pasloe.

Chrome Shelled Regios: Layfon Wolfstein Alseif

One of the twelve wielders of the “Heaven Blades”, Layfon Wolfstein Alseif held the title of Wolfstein at the young age of ten. He not only has high levels of kei, but he is also a fast learner, mastering combat techniques that earned him his elite rank. However, his participation in illegal underground matches cost him his title and was immediately exiled from Grendan. He later entered the Academy City of Zuellni as a General Education student in order to start anew.

One Piece: Sanji 04

At the beginning of the series, Sanji has always covered his left eye with his hair. This is because Sanji has an asymmetrical face, and therefore, the spiral on his eyebrows are on different ends: with his right eyebrow spiraling at the outer end, and his left at the inner end. He often gets upset when someone, Zoro in particular, mocks him over his spirals.

Sword Art Online: Alfheim Online: Asuna as Titania

Although Kirito managed to complete Sword Art Online, Asuna along 300 other players were captured by Sugo Nobuyuki into another VRMMORPG known as Alfheim Online. Asuna was forced to play the role of Titania, the Queen of the Fairies, all the while trapped in Alfheim online so that Sugo could marry her in the real world and take over her father’s company, RCT Progress Inc. The other players were trapped in a dream-like state, constantly being experimented on as part of Sugo’s research.
