Bleach: Hinamori Momo 04

When Hinamori Momo recovered from her disturbed mental state, she joined the rest of Soul Society in fighting against Aizen Sosuke. However, Aizen was able to seriously injure her once again by using his powers to fool Hitsugaya Toshiro into stabbing her in the chest. Thankfully, Hinamori survived and is currently undergoing organ regeneration under the supervision of the 12th Division.

That’s a really interesting setting for a Bleach cosplay. It makes me think that Hinamori-chan has found her peace of mind and is finally free from Aizen control. Thanks to Rachma for sending this and for letting me know the cosplayer is Indonesian!

Bleach: Hinamori Momo

This is probably the one shinigami I really feel sorry for… Hinamori Momo.

And I also keep forgetting to post this..! It’s been in the Bleach Blog for a long time now, and I have asked permission from Rukia to post it already…

And yes, we clarified that this is Mei Wai, the same cosplayer who did Lineage II’s Light Elf and Dark Elf… Makes you wonder if the girl could ever possibly do a bad cosplay (I hope that never happens).

Bleach: Hinamori Momo 02

The young and naive lieutenant of the 5th division, Hinamori Momo trusts Aizen Sosuke completely, even after his betrayal to Soul Society. No one knows exactly why Hinamori feels that way; whether she’s truly believes in him or if she was brainwashed by Aizen is left a mystery.

I think this makes a nice rival for Mei Wai’s version of Hinamori. But I like them both, anyhow. Thanks to 二叔#zukka of Flickr for sharing the photo!

Bleach: Hinamori Momo 05

When Hinamori’s zanpakuto is released, Tobiume's blade straightens and produces several jitte-like prongs along its length. In this form, Tobiume acts as a focus for Hinamori's spiritual power, concentrating it into energy bursts capable of forming craters as well as breaching walls. She can also compress her power into massive energy balls and throw them from the tip of her blade.

Awesome cosplay! And I heard the anime for Bleach is finally ending. Would that mean the same for the manga too? Thanks to Miguel for the contribution and Yilong for the lovely photograph!

Bleach: Hinamori Momo 03

One of my readers, who calls herself Aisling from Singapore, sent in her photo as a contribution to this blog. The photo was taken on the year end event of Singapore Expo or EOY 2008.

With so many cosplayers there, I definitely want to visit Singapore one day… To see the country aside from taking cosplay pictures, of course!

I think she makes a really cute Hinamori, and a stunning rival for the first two cosplayers I’ve featured. Thanks, Aisling! I hope you cosplay more soon!

Bleach: Kira Izuru

The lieutenant of the 3rd Division in Soul Society and loyal friend of Hinamori Momo and Abarai Renji, Kira Izuru is a model soldier who often places his duties above his personal feelings. Due to the betrayal of his Captain, Ichimaru Gin, to Soul Society resulting in Kira’s battle against Hinamori, Kira came to doubt his principles and became more pessimistic.

An impressive cosplay of Kira. I like the way his kimono was made, thought his hair is a little messy. Great job!

Bleach: Hitsugaya Toushirou

As a child, Hitsugaya Toushirou lived a carefree childhood in Junrinan, District 1 of western Rukongai. His mother passed away shortly after giving birth to him, and he was thus raised by his grandmother. His icy demeanor isolated him from others except Hinamori Momo, whom he considers a very close friend.

You might notice this is not only a crop from the original, but I also cleaned out the wires from the sky backdrop. I know a bit of photoshop, and since Goku Lover 3 mentioned in her comments how much she wanted those lines to disappear, I figured, why not?

Rozen Maiden: Suiseiseki 02

One of the few dolls who oppose the Alice Game, Suiseiseki is the older twin of Souseiseki who values her sisters more than becoming Alice. She has difficulty expressing that love towards others and tends to insult them instead.

You might recognize this cosplayer from Singapore… her name is Aisling and I featured her as Hinamori Momo from Bleach back in January. This is only her second cosplay attempt, and I think it would be safe to say we hope to see more of her, yes?

Kingdom Hearts II: Kairi

Sora’s close friend in the series, Kairi’s memories of Sora slowly return to her in the beginning of the second installment, Kingdom Hearts II. Riku then gives her a keyblade in order to fight against Saïx’s summoned Heartless.

This cosplayer is Mei Wai, the cosplayer of the elves in Lineage II and Bleach’s Hinamori Momo. Impressive as always, don’t you agree?
