Asuna logged into Sword Art Online borrowing her brother’s Nerve Gear after a sudden business trip kept him from playing on the opening day. Upon discovering that all players were trapped inside SAO, Asuna held herself inside her room in Starting City for a week, before resolving to take fate into her own hands. She began killing monsters and leveling up very quickly, not really caring about dying in-game before she met Kirito.

Cute cosplayer from Japan’s Game no Dengeki Kanshasai 2013 & Dengeki Bunko: Haru no Saiten 2013. Makes me wish she was carrying a sword instead of flyers though. Thanks to Michael for sending this in!
