Hellsing: Seras Victoria

Originally a police officer, Seras Victoria and her squad were sent to the village of Cheddar. The said village had been taken control by a vampire disguised as a priest and turned its inhabitants into ghouls. Seras was unfortunately taken hostage and later used as a shield from Alucard, who gave her a “choice” after he shot her to kill the vampire: to die as a human or to live as a vampire.
