After Takakura Himari was discharged from the hospital, she lost consciousness and died during a trip to the aquarium. For some reason or another, she was revived by a penguin hat bought at the aquarium’s souvenir shop.Whenever she wears the said hat, her appearance and personality changes to the Princess of the Crystal, a dominatrix who orders her brothers to obtain the Penguindrum in order to extend her life.
