Sailor Moon: Sailor Moon and Zoisite

On the 29th episode of Sailor Moon, Zoisite and Kunzite (Malachite) came up with the perfect plan to obtain the Rainbow Crystals from Tuxedo Mask. Zoisite disguised himself as Sailor Moon, and Kunzite “captured” her in order to make Tuxedo Mask come to her rescue. Would they succeed before the other Sailor Senshi can figure out who the fake Sailor Moon really is?

I’m actually not sure. I can’t remember how that episode ended! But I never thought anyone would cosplay as Zoisite “cosplaying” Sailor Moon! Thanks to Tamara for sending this!

Oh, and yeah, Zoisite is actually a man in the original Japanese anime. He’s a girl in several other languages though!

EDIT: Thanks to anon for pointing out that Sailor Moon is cosplayed by Saraqael! Sara has confirmed that this is her cosplay, but her girlfriend does not have a website that I can link her to at the moment. Guess we'll have to wait and see!

Sailor Moon: Princess Serenity 02

My apologies for the lack of updates lately. It seems that there have been some hot-linking of images in Cosplay Holic, and I had to change image servers. I'm still in the process of migrating images so it will take up a lot of time.

However, I've also been able to find some beautiful cosplays. This one of Princess Serenity, for example. Her dress is really well made and the materials used are just perfect for the Moon Princess.

Although I must admit, it does lack the sleeve, but nevertheless, still a fitting rival for the previous cosplayer I've posted. Excellent work!

Sailor Stars: Tsukino Usagi

Remember what I said about this blog not being biased about Western Cosplay? Well, here’s proof to back that up.

This is probably one of the best Sailor Moon Cosplays I have ever come across. She’s just really pretty and she’s got the costume right (instead of the usual knock offs)! I love the way she did her hair, it’s really gorgeous.

This picture is credited to Cosplaylab.com. I was able to find this thanks to Maya, who replied to Morbid Optimism defending the Americans against his topic “Americans Shouldn’t Cosplay“. Morbid Optimism posted some really nice Japanese Cosplay pictures, you should check it out. I’ll be posting some of those pictures here too (as well as the not so nice American ones), and give him full credit for finding them first of course… ^_^

Oh~ I’d also like to mention that Megamisan sent me Adella’s Gallery for some nice cosplay photos of Adella. We have the same taste in cosplay! ^_^
