Granado Espada: J.D.

J.D is the legitimate son of a historic knight family who served the Kielce family. However, a certain incident ruined his family name, forcing him to leave his nation and join the Bloody Navy. He took on the name “J.D.”, which is a shortened form of his Bloody Navy codename, Judgment Day.

Granado Espada: Catherine the Summoner

Catherine the Summoner is an automated robot created in the image of Dr. Torsche’s late daughter. She is the only character that has the ability to use the unique skill, “Marionette”, which allows her to control dolls as sentient robots. There are a total of five dolls named Walter, Lloyd, Helena, Sasha, and Victor.

A stunning cosplay of one of my favorite NPCs in the game by Taiwanese cosplayer, Judy! I love her Sasha doll, but it looks creepy without the eyes! Then again, that’s what Sasha really looks like! Thanks to Clara Mae for sending this in!

Granado Espada: The Wizard 02

The best magical users among the pioneers, Wizards and Warlocks have a wide variety of magical spells that protect and support their family members. They also wreck terrible vengeance against their enemies by using psychic attacks against them. They are the only pioneers who able to levitate, making them immune to ground attacks for a certain period of time.

Granado Espada: The Elementalist

An extremely powerful character in the MMORPG Sword of the New World: Granado Espada, the elementalists use fire, ice, and thunder as their offensive magic of choice. They have the ability to slaughter multiple opponents with one shot, but tend to move slowly due to their massive power.

Very beautifully cosplayed Elementalist! I only wish we had more info on the cosplayer as well as the character. Thanks to Okami for sending this in!

Granado Espada: Leticia

Very little is known about the Premium Item Merchant, Leticia, but players of Granado Espada know her very well. She sells in-game items that cost real money, so you can bet players think about her all the time, especially when they’re deciding whether or not to make a purchase.

I think it would be safe to say she’s from a family of merchants though? Or a family who is into the business.

Granado Espada: The Musketeer

Musketeers are one of the mst powerful characters in the world of Granado Espada. With their riffles and pistols, they can give heavy damage to enemies on land and air. The only downside of such powerful characters is that they’re expensive to maintain. You need a large amount of bullets that you only get in towns if you want to go through some tough quests.

The musketeer was my first character that I ever made in Granado Espada. However, I ended up deleting her because my Family was poor back then, so I could not sustain the money needed for the bullets.

I kind of regret that now though. Pretty awesome cosplay! And is it me, or does this cosplayer remind you of T.M. Revolution too?

Granado Espada Official MTV: Fu Huo

A beautiful MTV about 2 friends who then became rivals. And the cosplay is very impressive! This video features a female elementalist, a musketeer, and a fighter.

Honestly though, I don’t think musketeers are capable of close combat. But that’s as far as I can go with my complaints. ^^

Granado Espada: The Fighters

Fighters are considered to be one of the most versatile classes of Granado Espada. They can take on a lot of damage and increase their attack and defense depending on their stances. After gaining enough experience, they are also able to wield pistols.

It’s been a while since I found cosplays of this game. I think they might be professional performers or something of the like. Anyone who has more information, please do share!

Granado Espada: The Scout

Not a lot of people will be able to recognize this cosplay… Unless they’ve reached level of their scout (I believe it’s level 84?).

The female scout is the healer of the game. She is a valuable character (unless you don’t mind having to spend a lot of vis/game money for potions). She can also use daggers in combat, but most people use her for her healing abilities and buffs. Some people even say that a scout’s buffs can be a lot better than a wizards’s.

The only thing I’m not too sure about is the color of the costume… I think the default color is red, but there might be some options in the game in order to change her outfit orange. Beautiful detailing, I would say.

Granado Espada: The Wizard

If there’s anything that’s rare in the cosplay world, it’s having pretty guys who’ll cosplay (a.k.a. bishounen as the Japanese would call them).

I mean no offense, but really, most of the good cosplayers are female… or… Female cosplayers portraying male characters. There are hardly any serious guys who cosplay, so you can imagine why I love this picture! He’s such a cute boy!

(uh, oh… Nanao-chan is on fangirl mode..!)

Anyway, going back to the original topic, I found this picture in Kooh’s Blog.. There are more Granado Espada (Sword of the New World) cosplayers there. All of them are quite impressive too. You guys should check them out!
