Dragon Ball Z: Android 18, 16, and 17

In Episode 133 of Dragon Ball Z, “Nightmare Comes True”, Future Trunks and Vegeta searched the mountains for Dr. Gero’s laboratory. Future Trunks tried to warn Vegeta that the Androids were more powerful than he realized, but Vegeta paid him no heed.

Meanwhile, the remaining Z Fighters arrived at the North City and decided to split up to cover more ground. Krillin was attacked by Dr. Gero, but he managed to follow the Doctor to his laboratory and signaled the others. While the Z Fighters tried to break in, Dr. Gero activated Android 17 and Android 18; both of which were not really inclined to be under his control.

Well this is a cosplay you don’t get to see everyday. Dragon Ball is such a classic series after all, so seeing really great cosplays of the characters are quite rare these days. Thanks to Ruri for sending this in!

Dragon Ball Z: Son Goten

The second and final child of Son Goku and Chi Chi, Son Goten greatly resembles his father in appearance and seemingly likes wearing the same clothing as well. He is trained by his older brother, Son Gohan, for the 25th World Martial Arts Tournament and later discovers Goten had the ability to transform into a Super Saiyan despite his young age. Goten later learns the Fusion technique from his dad and Piccolo, which allows him and Trunks to become one powerful warrior known as Gotenks.

Awesome cosplay! Never thought anyone could get that hair right without looking too silly. Must have taken a lot of hair cement... Thanks to Timotei for sending this in!

Dragon Ball Z: Trunks

With the rumors (or are they real news?) of the potential Live Action Dragon Ball Z Movie, I thought I’d go find some images of some cosplays of the series.

Trunks is the son of the Saiyan Prince, Vegeta and Bulma. When he was a child, he easily won the kids division of the Tenkaichi Budokai tournament, easily defeating Son Goku’s youngest son, Son Goten. Trunks and Son Goten eventually learn a powerful technique that allows them to fuse together into Gotenks.

This is a pretty impressive Trunks. Love the purple hair, good job!
