I had just finished watching Hell Girl when I came upon this photo of Jin. It’s almost scary how she can cosplay beautiful heroines as well as handsome guys. I really hope I’ll get to meet her one day. Thanks to troy323 for sharing this!

Because of what happened to her 400 years ago, Ai must now fulfill other people’s vengeance as her punishment. After the targeted person suffers hellish hallucinations which exploit their flaws and crimes, she appears to the condemned and recites the following:

闇に惑いし哀れな影よ
Oh pitiful shadow lost in the darkness
...人を傷付け貶めて
bringing torment and pain to others

Oh damned soul wallowing in your sins
いっぺん... 死んで見る？
Perhaps… it is time to die?

Her task is completed once she ferries the person to Hell, making her a deliverer of people’s hatred and vengeance.

Hell Girl: Enma Ai

Enma Ai is the main protagonist of Jigoku Shoujo: Girl from Hell, who could also be considered an anti-heroine as well. She is actually a spiritual entity who lives with her grandmother in a place frozen in time as it basks in eternal sunset. Ai uses an old computer in their house to receive the names of the clients from the website, and delivers their revenge.
