The highest ranking administrator of the Southern Region, Commander Dot Pixis has full authority over cities’ defenses. Known to be an eccentric man, he retains and calm, light-hearted demeanor even in the midst of a crisis. He is also an effective leader and an expert strategist, analyzing situations carefully and knowing when to take risks.

I cannot stop raving over how perfect this is, seeing the cosplayer is actually a 63-year-old Master Roshi! He must be the coolest grandpa ever! Thanks to Shuichi for sending his in!

Kagerou Project: Dark Konoha - Kuroha

Member Number 9 of Mekakushi Dan, Konoha is a boy who has the “awakening Eyes” ability. He was once known as Kokonose Haruka, a sickly boy who suffered from an illness which caused his body to have spasms and lose consciousness. He was later given the choice to live in his ideal body at the cost of his memories. An alternate personality known as Dark Konoha, often dubbed “Kuroha”, appears after trauma from “opening his eyes”.

Pretty spectacular looking cosplay! From what I’ve read on Wikipedia, Kagerou Daze is based on a Vocaloid song created by Jin, a.k.a. Shizen no Teki-P. It’s pretty awesome that one song could inspire such amazing characters. Thanks to Yaniv for sending this in!

Zetsuen no Tempest: Fuwa Aika

Killed along with her parents one year prior to the start of the series, Fuwa Aiko was Mahiro’s step-sister and Takigawa Yoshino’s girlfriend. Both boys were still unable overcome her loss and are determined to avenge her death. It is later hintes that she is the key to many unanswered mysteries surrounding them, including the culprit behind the murders.

Shingeki no Kyojin: Jean Kirstein

Outspoken and honest, Jean Kirstein is unafraid to let others know what’s on his mind even if it may cause unnecessary conflict. He has strong leadership skills despite lacking strength as a soldier when compared to Levi, Mikasa, or Eren. However, Marco noted that this understanding of weakness allowed Jean to judge situations in the heat of the moment.

Kimi ni Todoke: Kurumizawa Ume and Miura Kento

Beautiful and popular, Kurumizawa Ume had the biggest crush on Kazehaya Shota and had stooped to petty tricks in order to win his heart. Although she appears to be extremely sweet and kind, she is only able to show her true self to Kuronuma Sawako. After getting an expected rejection from Shota, she began to accept Sawako as her rival, and no longer used unfair tactics as she had learned better. She once became angry at Miura Kento for saying unnecessary things to Sawako that caused a rift upon the developing relationship between Sawako and Shota.

Kento actually means well, but sometimes, I wish I could just slap the the guy. Kurumi, on the other hand, is one of those girls that I really can’t forgive and forget. Both are very unforgettable characters though, and I kinda wished Kento was in the movie too. Thanks to Jazz for sending this in!

Accel World: Kuroyukihime

The heroine and leader of the Nega Nebulus legion, the beautiful Black Snow Princess is also the Student Council Vice-President of Umesato Junior High School. Although her real name is unknown, she is quite popular and has been a Burst Linker since he was only eight years old. Her pseudonym is a Japanese word play on Snow White, translated as Shiroyukihime which literally means “White Snow Princess”.

A student who enjoys wearing Gothic Lolita attire, Celes is infamously known as the gambler, “Queen of Liars”. She believes that one must continually adapt in order to survive. Although she is usually calm and collected, she occasionally has uncharacteristic outbursts especially is something (or someone) really annoys her.

Oboreru Knife: Mochizuki Natsume and Otomo Katsutoshi

I was actually hoping that someone somewhere would write a more detailed character profile for these two, but I’m been putting off this feature lone enough.

After a certain stalking incident occurred due to her modeling work, Mochizuki Natsume stopped modeling all together and broke up her relationship with Hasegawa Kouichiro. Kouichiro’s childhood friend, Otomo Katsutoshi became close to her during this time and the two eventually started dating. Natsume later had enough courage to start her modeling work again.

This was submitted on Cosplay Holic’s Facebook Page earlier this year. I was planning to read this manga before I featured this but like I said, I’ve been putting it off long enough. Thanks to Salsa-chan for sharing this!

Inu x Boku SS: Roromiya Karuta

The SS agent assigned to Shokiin Kagero, Roromiya Karuta is actually a Gashadokuro, a large skeleton made for the bones of people who died from starvation. Her human form depicts her as normal, teenage girl who appears to be “zoned out” most of the time even though she is actually very clever and observant. She has special feelings for Watanuki Banri, her childhood friend, who decided to become strong because of Karuta.
