Sekai-Ichi Hatsukoi: Kisa Shota and Yukina Kou

Kisa Shota, who is often mistaken to be much younger than his age, does not think he is capable of being in a serious relationship, because he often falls in love with someone, anyone, for their good looks, regardless of their personality. However, when he meets Yukina Kou, he experiences for the first time what it truly feels like to fall in love with not only a person’s looks, but their entire being as well.

Featuring Shin as Yukina Kou and Manato(マナト) as Kisa Shota! Ok, guys, look away for now, today’s another treat for come of Cosplay Holic’s female readers. Perhaps I should find some yuri to balance things out, but I believe the cosplayers are both female anyway, if that compensates for anything. Thanks to Samantha for sending this in!

Yu Yu Hakusho: Youko Kurama 05

Compared to his human counterpart, Youko Kurama appears to be more cruel, vindictive, and merciless. This was first shown in his fight against Karasu during the semi-final rounds of the Dark Tournament. However, Kurama later explains that his demonic spirit was merged with the human spirit of Minamino Shuichi over time. He is therefore “both the demon Kurama as well as the human Minamino Shuuichi.”

Minamino Tetra makes quite a stunning Youko! It’s almost a little creepy when I look at it, since she looks very sadistic, pretty much like the character. Thanks to Jaime for sending this in!

Uta no Prince-sama: Otori Eichi

The son of the legendary Raging Otori, Otori Eichi is a member of HEAVENS, a singing group competing against STARISH for the UtaPri Award. He acts as the leader of HEAVENS and has a disturbing, psychotic-like attitude. He appears to be obsessed with obtaining Haruka Nanami as his group’s composer.

ALCO G looks absolutely amazing as that crazy psychopath. Although I’m very curious as to how this character came to be. I have a bad feeling that his father pushed him too hard when he was still young, but I guess we’ll have to wait for the third season of Uta no Prince-sama to find out more. xxxHolic: Watanuki Kimihiro and Ichihara Yuuko 02

I’m late for the party, but earlier this year, a live action adaptation of xxxHolic aired in Japan’s WOWOW. Instead of a movie like I had earlier envisioned, this was apparently a TV series, running for only eight episodes. This photo features Watanabe Anne as Ichihara Yuuko and Sometani Shota as Watanuki Kimihiro.

Has anyone seen this? Is it just me, or is an eight-episode TV series too short? I mean, I’ve seen “Boss”, another Japanese TV series, and it had only eleven episodes, but really? Just eight? Was it any good, or just really bad?

Sword Art Online: Silica 03

Bright, cheerful, and supportive, Silica is a rare Beast Tamer in Sword Art Online who has a deep attachment to her Feathery Dragon, Pina. She is easily embarrassed and flustered when it comes to romance as she is only 13-years-old. However, Silica became attached to Kirito after he helped her retrieve the flower from the Hill of Memories in order to revive her pet, who died protecting her.

Cute cosplayer! I find it interesting that she used silver cloth for her armor instead of the usual, hard materials some cosplayers use. I guess that’s one other way of making cosplay armor. Thanks again to Jane for sending this in!

Hakuoki ~Shinsengumi Kitan~: Okita Souji 04

Okita Souji drank the Water of Life hoping that it would cure his tuberculosis and allow him to return and fight alongside the Shinsengumi. Although he did become a Rasetsu, it was later discovered that he is unable to heal quickly when wounded by silver weapons. The accelerated healing process also shortens one’s lifespan, and it does not completely heal Souji of his fatal illness.

Another amazing cosplay by Ryuuseiki! I’m surprised this doesn’t have more likes on Deviant Art, I think it looks really good! Please show the cosplayer your support when you can! And thanks again to Lilibeth for sending this in!

Shingeki no Kyojin | Uta no Prince-sama: Mikasa Ackermann and Jinguji Ren

This is probably one of the cutest photos I’ve seen in a long time.

I don’t know about you guys, but I can picture Ren dancing PSY’s “Gentleman” if it means he could make a little girl laugh. And tiny Mikasa looks like she’s really happy to meet Ren.

Kyoukai no Kanata: Kuriyama Mirai

Kuriyama Mirai is a first-year high school student who has the ability to control blood. She comes from a bloodline of Spirit World Warriors, but her abilities are so unique that they are considered heretical even within the scope of the Spirit World. As a result, she is often isolated, and had even considered suicide before she met Kanbara Akihito.

Fate/Extra CCC: Saber Bride

When BB used her abilities to create the Sakura Labyrinth, Saber and her master, Kishinami Hakuno were brought to the Far Side of the Moon Cell along with many others Master and Servants from the Moon Cell Holy Grail War on the Near Side. Saber Bride is the alternate costume for Red Saber who appears in Fate/Extra. Her true identity is later revealed to be Nero Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus, the Fifth Roman Emperor.

Sekai-Ichi Hatsukoi: Onodera Ritsu and Takano Masamune

After overhearing his co-workers gossiping about him riding on his father’s coattails, Onodera Ritsu resigned from his father’s company so that he can prove to himself and to others that he could succeed even without his father’s influence. He applied in Marukawa Publishing as a literary editor, only to be assigned to the shoujo department, Emerald. He considered resigning again after meeting his intolerable boss, Takano Masamune, but his pride forced him to stay after Takano regarded him to be “useless”.

A rather striking pair of cosplayers with Silverx1307 as Ritsu and Ryuuseiki as Takano! I’ll admit, I wouldn’t mind having Takano as my manga editor, even if he is a little mean. Thanks to Lilibeth for sending this in!
