Princess Tutu: Princess Kraehe 02

An advanced ballet student greatly admired by most pupils, Rue’s alter ego is Princess Kraehe, who is said to be the daughter of the Raven. She has loved Mytho since childhood because he defended her when she was attacked by crows. When Mytho’s heart was shattered, Rue took advantage of his apathy and pretended they were a couple.

This is one of my favorite series of all time! I’m so happy to see Mussum cosplay Princess Kraehe! She’s even in en pointe (at least, I think that’s the term for someone in ballet standing on their tip-toes)! Thanks for letting me feature you again, Mussum!

I’ve recently been informed that there are several online cosplay stores that claim to be the “official” Cosplay Holic. Well, I may have come up with this name in 2007, but I didn’t exactly register or copyright this name since I never thought a cosplay blog would become so popular!

So no, unfortunately, I’m not associated with any online cosplay shops as of this moment. I’m really sorry for the confusion!

Anyway, this week’s unknown cosplay is rather cute, wouldn’t you agree? Please let me know if you have any idea who she’s cosplaying as, even if it’s just a guess!

League of Angels: Lorelei

Dragon Nest: Sorceress

Although she was known as a child prodigy among magicians, the Sorceress was hated and despised by humans. She was expected to be the greatest of her kind, but instead of bring peace and prosperity to the land, she turned her back on her destiny and lost herself to gambling. Unfortunately(?) she now has to battle monsters in order to collect gold to pay off her debts, unaware that destiny is not so easily thwarted.

Aze looks so happy in this photo! Being that this is the Christmas Armor Set, I guess I should have featured this back on Christmas! Great photography as usual, Erving Go!

By the way, congratulations for winning second place in Cherry Cosfiesta’s cosplay competition! Definitely well-deserving of the prize!

K: Isana Yashiro

A supposedly normal high school student, Isana Yashiro led a peaceful life until he was pursued by HOMRA, SCEPTER 4, and Yatogami Kuro for the murder of Totsuka Tatara of HOMRA. Unbeknownst to him, Totsuka had taken a video moments before his death which clearly showed Yashiro as the culprit, even though Yashiro couldn’t remember the incident. He then tries to unravel the mystery behind that murder, and the strange events that surround it in the psychic war between the Kings.

Oh goodness, I haven’t featured Jesuke in a while, and I’m so happy to see she still cosplays! I’m a huge fan of hers, and I’m sure a lot of my readers are too! Thanks to Tanya for sending this in!

Shingeki no Kyojin: Mikasa Ackermann 04

Mikasa Ackermann was a cheerful, outgoing child who was unusually perceptive. She became aware of the harshness of nature at an early age after she saw her father bringing home a type of fowl for their family dinner. Although she managed to push these thoughts to the back of her mind, the murder of her parents shattered her illusionary peace, and thus she could no longer ignore the cruelty the defined the world she lived in.

Vampire Hunter D: D 02

D is said to be one of the strongest beings in the world, second only to his father. Despite having several supernatural abilities, however, he prefers using his physical abilities, only using his magic in times of great need. D suffers from minimal vampiric weaknesses usual to dhampirs, but he has godlike reflexes surpassing even those of Nobles.

This cosplay really has a lot of amazing details! I gotta hand it to the cosplayers in Japan! It must have taken a long time to prepare this cosplay and wear it in Comiket 85! Thanks again for sharing this, Marcello!

Dangan Ronpa 2: Goodbye Despair: Sonia Nevermind

Jason suggested that I use unknown cosplay features to answer questions not yet covered in the F.A.Q.s… I don’t have a lot as of yet, but I will answer this:

“Is it hard to maintain Cosplay Holic?”

I’m actually very lucky! When I started this site in 2007, I never thought it would as popular as it is now. Most of what I feature are submissions from the readers themselves, so I’m almost always ready to post something new every day! The only problem I have is time management, since I have work, hobbies, and life in general.

I hope that answers the question! Feel free to post your own questions in the comments section, and of course, please let me know if you have any idea who our featured cosplayer is portraying! Thanks, Marcello!

Canaan: Alphard Al Sheya

Alphard Al Sheya is an attractive young woman who is the leader of the terrorist organization “Snake”. Alphard was once the apprentice of Siam and was given the name “Canaan”, but she took on her current identity after the events that occurred in 428: Fuusa Sareta Shibuya de. She is the main antagonist of the series and Canaan’s arch-enemy.

While Saber Alter still takes her duty as king seriously, she no longer believes in the ideals set for herself and her people. She does believe that it is her obligation to lead her people for the sake of those who lost their lives because of her. The same is not true for the Holy Grail War, as she could only hold a slight amount of pity towards those left alive.
