Loveless: Hawatari Yuiko

One of Ritsuka’s classmates in his new school, Yuiko appeared to be a ditzy girl who had befriended Ritsuka at the prodding of their mean-spirited classmates. Ritsuka first thought of her to be annoying and weird, but they became good friends as the series progressed. Yuiko has been fascinated by Ritsuka since the first day they met, but Ritsuka sees their relationship to be purely platonic.

Final Fantasy VII: Vincent Valentine 03

Cloud Strife first met Vincent Valentine sleeping in a locked room at the basement of Shinra Manor. After some careful coaxing, Cloud was able to speak to Vincent and told him about Sephiroth. Vincent knew he was the child Lucrecia had conceived and considered it to be another “sin”. Vincent then asked if Cloud and his party will meet Hojo, and Cloud confirmed his inquiry. He then decided to accompany the party with thoughts of claiming revenge.

Way too awesome for words! Then again, I’m beginning to wonder if this is real or CG (computer-generated)? What do you guys think? Thanks to Remi for sending this!

Persona: Trinity Soul: Morimoto Kanaru, Kanzato Shin, Kayano Megumi, and Kanzato Jun

In Ayanagi, a city located near the Sea of Japan, the police force is investigating several cases of a mysterious illness known as the Apathy Syndrome. The incidents were said to be linked to covert testing conducted under Komatsubura Keisuke. These examinations tried to locate all known Persona users and find the strongest by weeding them out via Persona experiments before it was disbanded.

Amidst the crisis, Superintendent Kanzato Ryo’s two younger brothers, Shin and Jun, have moved back with him. The three of them have not seen each other in 10 years due to certain circumstances beyond their control.

Sounds like a complicated, yet very interesting anime! And this cosplay represents each of the characters very well! To enumerate, Kanaru is cosplayed by Tsubaki-chan, Shin by Memphis, Megumi by Helen, and Jun by Gakkun! Thanks to Melanie for sending this in!

Kuroshitsuji: Madam Red 02

In the past, Madam Red, whose full name is Lady Angelina Durless-Barnett, was a withdrawn and shy child because of she was self-conscious of her red hair. She admired and loved her sister, Rachel Durless, who later married Vincent Phantomhive, whom they were both in love with. She was generally lighthearted about her sister’s marriage to Vincent, stating that if the two people she loved most were happy, then she was happy as well.

Air Gear: Noyamano Shiraume

Known as “Ume” to her family, Noyamo Shiraume is the youngest among her sisters and supposedly the weakest member of Sleeping Forest in terms of AT fighting skills. However, as a gravity child, Ume is able to battle extremely well in the Tropheum. She usually keeps to herself, creating and playing with puppets in the guise of gorgons.

MPD Psycho: Kobayashi Yosuke

When Detective Kobayashi Yosuke was assigned to the case of a serial killer who dismembered his victims, he never thought his own girlfriend would later become one of the victims. She was said to have been mutilated but kept alive; the trauma of which began to make Yosuke lose his sanity. As a result, he developed a dissociative identity disorder, with two main personalities being a cool headed detective known as Amamiya Kazuhiko, and a reckless psychopath named Nishizono Shinji.

Ouran High School Host Club: Suoh Tamaki 03

Named René Tamaki Richard de Grantaine, Suoh Tamaki is a second-year student at Ouran Academy and the founder and president of the Host Club. He lived in France with his mother until he was 14-years-old, thereafter he went to live with his father and grandmother in Japan. Tamaki and his father are separated from his French mother because of a deal made between Tamaki’s ill mother and his cold-hearted paternal grandmother. Although he was treated coldly at first, Tamaki was able to win his grandmother’s approval with his mind and kindness and the two eventually grew close.

Neon Genesis Evangelion: Ayanami Rei 11

Anno Hideki instructed Sadamoto Yoshiyuki when he was designing Ayanami Rei that "Whatever else, she needs to be painted in as a bitterly unhappy young girl with little sense of presence."

Needless to say, Sadamoto-sensei was able to achieve that effect flawlessly!

In the beginning of the series, Rei is socially withdrawn, appearing to be an emotionless girl who rarely interacted with anyone except for Ikari Gendo. She is known to be living by herself in a dull, sparsely-furnished apartment in Tokyo-3.

Such a convincingly beautiful cosplay! Even the setting is perfect! I wonder if they’re in a lab of some sort? Thanks to Pia for sending this in!

Twilight: Edward Cullen

Described as one of the most charming characters in the series, Edward Cullen is very protective of his beloved Bella Swan and puts her safety, humanity, and welfare before anything else. He has a tendency to over-analyze situations and overreact, especially when it comes to Bella’s safety. He speaks in early 20th century dialect and, after falling in love with Bella, wishes he was human instead of a vampire “monster”.
