Ok, this series has officially confused me. There’s a clone Sakura, and there’s a real Sakura, just as there’s a clone Syaoran and a real Syaoran. How to tell if the cosplay is of one or the other? I have no idea, but I hope someone could tell me!

I do know this cosplay by Ghost Sheng (鬼笙) and Hu Sebai (狐色白) looks fantastic, am I right? So please continue to support them! Thanks to Omi for sending this in!

Tsubasa – Reservoir Chronicle: Sakura 07

As their journey continued, Sakura slowly began to regard Syaoran as the most important person in her life. However, Syaoran betrayed the group as he was actually being controlled by Fei-Wang Reed, the sorcerer who cloned him based on another teenager. Sakura later discovered that Fei-Wang was the responsible for splitting her memories and set up the journey to recover them for his own benefit. Nevertheless, Sakura decided to continue their journey because she wanted to save Syaoran. Since then, Sakura became very distant from the group, especially the original Syaoran because of his similarities to the clone.

I don’t know about you guys, but I’m still confused with the whole Tsubasa – Reservoir Chronicle world. I can’t keep track which character is the clone and which is the original, not to mention the crossover with xxxHolic. I actually prefer xxxHolic over this series. Tsubasa – Resevoir Chronicle: Sakura 06

At the loss of her memory feathers, Sakura was initially confused and constantly tired from her travels to other worlds, but she grew stronger as she regains her feathers one by one. She became friendly with the group’s members, Fai D. Flowright, Kurogane, Mokona, and even Syaoran. However, even though she notices that she is missing someone from her memories, when Sakura realizes that person to be Syaoran, her memories are reversed back to before she thought of him. She also began to recover her abilities, including being able to see the spirits of nature, ghosts, and even foreseeing the future.

I do apologize for my sudden disappearance, guys! You could say I’m a little burned out from reading up on different characters from different series. But of course, I will continue to work hard to get out of this slump! Thank you to Samantha for sending me her cosplay photo of Sakura!

Tsubasa - Reservoir Chronicle: Syaoran and Sakura 03

As the story progressed, it was revealed that Syaoran was a clone of another teenager created by the sorcerer Fei-Wang Reed, in order to find Sakura’s feathers no matter what the cost. The original Syaoran managed to place some of his “heart” within the clone’s right eye, which allowed him to develop a personality of his own. Once the seal was broken, however, Syaoran lost all his emotions and was used by Fei-Wang to collect Sakura’s feathers throughout dimensions on his own, betraying all of his friends in the process.

The concept behind the clones in Tsubasa really confuses me, but I really like this cosplay done by Hagaren and Hu Li! Please visit Hagaren’s gallery for more photos!

Tsubasa - Reservoir Chronicle: Ashura-o

The King of Shura Country, Ashura-o is in constant war with the Yasha clan over the possession of a mysterious castle said to fulfill its master’s every wish. It was later revealed that Ashura-o was in love with Yasha-o and Ashura-o wished to resurrect him from the dead. He died in the castle as it crumbled around him unable to fulfill his wish. However, what the castle could not do, Yuuko was able to grant; she made Ashura-o and Yasha-o gods to their clans, allowing them to be together.

Beautiful cosplay by ~Syszeii! It’s pretty embarrassing that I made a mistake with which Ashura-o this was. It’s a good thing St. Arcana, Syaza, Meg, and Rae made the effort to correct me and gave me more information about this Ashura. Thanks again to Tori for sending this in!

Tsubasa - Reservoir Chronicle: Sakura 04

When Syaoran was revealed to be a clone, Sakura became distant from the group, especially to the real Syaoran. Although her soul is eventually killed by the clone, she confessed that she is merely the clone of the real Tsubasa. Fei Wong Reed created her for the sole purpose of mapping out dimensions by finding the scattered feathers.

Tsubasa – Reservoir Chronicle: Syaoran and Sakura 02

When Sakura had a vision of a mysterious symbol Syaoran found in the ruins, she visits Syaoran the following day, unknowingly sealing her fate. The symbol in her visions pull her into a secret room, turning her soul into a pair of ghostly wings. Syaoran was able to rescue her at the cost of her wings and soon finds out from High Priest Yukito that they had to find a way to retrieve the feathers scattered through dimensions or Sakura will die.

Beautiful cosplay! I especially like the feather Sakura is holding. I wonder if she made it from scratch or cut and painted a real feather? Nice job though!

Tsubasa - Reservoir Chronicle: Sakura 02

Sakura, the Princess of Clow Kingdom, lost her powers and her memories because of a powerful force, causing her to be weak and confused. Her memories take the form of feathers scattered in different dimensions which she and Syaoran must collect in order to return Sakura back to normal.

Ichihara Yuuko aids them by giving her Mokona, in exchange for her memories of Syaoran. Yuuko calls her "a favored daughter of the gods" due to her unbelievable good luck.

Another beautiful cosplayer from Comiket! Unfortunately, we can't see her face clearly, but the photography is still superb. Wonderful job to both the cosplayer and the photographer!

Tsubasa - Reservoir Chronicle: Syaoran and Sakura

One of my readers, Lily, sent a link to a cosplay of Tsubasa - Reservoir Chronicle’s Syaron and Sakura as cosplayed by Kiarou and Lil Krn Yuna. I wanted to show Sakura’s full dress so I chose another photo of the two. I hope Lily doesn’t mind. ^^

Anyhow, I can’t believe these costumes were hand-made! It’s really well done, and they make a really cute Syaoran and Sakura! Awesome job! I’ll be sure to feature more of them in the future!

Tsubasa - Reservoir Chronicle: Fay D. Flourite

I am so annoyed that I can’t see the cosplayer’s face here. But for Fay to now show his face is actually very characteristic.

Fay is one of Syaoran’s allies. He is happy-go-lucky and carefree, but is very mysterious, in the sense that he seems to have little regard for his own life. He can be very perceptive and is considered to be as skillful as Kurogane. He also often hides his own unhappiness with a fake smile.

I’ve been wondering if I should post this or not when I found it on Flickr. Mainly because I seldom feature cosplayers who don’t show their face, give or take a few. I still find this pretty, though!
