D. Gray-man: Allen Walker 09

d. gray-man cosplay - allen walker by noeru

Despite the troubling life his master and General, Cross Marian, forced him to live, Allen Walker still has unassuming and borderline naive traits. His cursed Pentacle Eye allows him to see the human souls bound to the Akuma, which makes Allen consider the Akuma to be just as important to him as humans. In his attempt to become “a destroyer who can save”, Allen swore his left arm to saving the Akuma and his right to saving humans.

This is probably one of the most famous among the Allen Walker cosplay photos out there as Vikki puts it, and I’m very happy to say that Kyna Sylvia has identified the cosplayer to be Noeru (諾) from China! Please continue to support her by visiting her Cure account, and thank you to Sun-Sun for sending this in!

Rozen Maiden Träumend: Kirakishou 02

rozen maiden träumend cosplay - kirakishouKirakishou is the true seventh Rozen Maiden Doll whom Barasuishou was modeled after. According to Shinku, "Her left eye can see everything, but reflects nothing, while her right eye is an empty hole, with a white rose growing out of it." In the anime, Kirakishou’s shoulders are not ball-jointed, presumably because she is an entity that only exists in the N-Field.

Cute cosplay by Chamaro and another great photo by MPzero! It’s difficult for me to tell how she placed that rose on her eye. Maybe the strings are under her wig? Thanks to Shuya for sending this in!

Final Fantasy XII: Fran

final fantasy xii cosplay - franA powerful Viera warrior who specializes in long range attacks using her bow and arrows, Fran handles the maintenance of Balthier’s airship, the Strahl. She is the wisest among the cast, a fitting role being her life span is much longer than the rest. She is the eldest of the group, despite her youthful appearance.

I’ve heard that I’ve been showing too many Asian cosplayers again, a pretty common critique now a days. I guess it’s a lot easier to find Asian cosplayers than Western ones. Admittedly, I am a fan of Asian cosplayers, but I also feature non-Asian ones like this when they catch my attention.

I apologize if my blog seems biased to some, if not most. It’s really not my intention.
