Tachibana Akane joined the Kouzu Basketball Club because his rival, Hiiragi Hitonari, inspired him to play once more after he joined the same school. He is often seen drinking flavored milk as he believed this will help him grow taller. Despite his height, however, he proves to be a talented basketball player. His position in the team is Forward.
