Sound Horizon: Hortensia and Violette

sound horizon cosplay - hortensia and violetteTwins who are the exact opposites of one another, Hortensia and Violette were first featured in the album “Roman” by fantasy band, Sound Horizon. They represent day and night as well as life and death.

Aren’t they adorable? I wish I could read Japanese so that I’d know what’s written on the photograph though. Thanks to Timmy for sending this!

  1. The writing is "Soko ni Roman wa aru no darou ka?", which can be translated as "I wonder if there's a story ("Roman") there....", which is said by Laurant in the first song of the album. :) Throughout the album, Violette and Hortensia say a slight variant that translates to the same thing ("Soko ni Roman wa aru no kashira?"). That's a really nice cosplay, btw. :)
